The House
Tropenwoning Nos Anker on Curacao is fully equipped and located in the safe and quiet neighborhood of "Katoentuin," adjacent to the Cas Grandi district. The location is absolutely ideal, thanks to its central position. You can reach "Jan Thiel" in just 10 minutes by car, "Mambo" in 12 minutes, and the center of Willemstad in just 15 minutes
Nos Anker features a beautiful green garden and a spacious swimming pool (10x5x3 meters). The garden and the house are carefully separated, allowing you to enjoy peace and privacy.
The layout of the vacation home is as follows

The house can accommodate six to eight people, and upon request, an extra bed or crib can be added.

A cozy living room with an open kitchen equipped with a gas stove, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, washing machine, and plenty of storage space. There is also a TV with Netflix.

Three comfortable bedrooms, including a master bedroom with its own shower and toilet. The other two bedrooms share a shower and toilet.

For those who need to work during their vacation, we have created a dedicated workspace.

Nos Anker is fully fenced and secured with an electric gate. There is ample parking available for multiple cars.
Facilities
At Tropenwoning Nos Anker, everything is about fun and relaxation for the whole family! Besides our wonderful large swimming pool, which is perfect for a refreshing dip, we offer several additional facilities to make your stay even more enjoyable
For the little ones, we have a neat sandbox located in the shade, where they can play safely and build sandcastles. We also have a ping-pong table for those who enjoy a friendly match. Whether you want to play an exciting rally with friends and family or just test your skills, this table guarantees hours of fun.
Next to the house, we have installed a pétanque court, ideal for both children and adults. This classic game is perfect for a friendly competition and offers a nice break.

Meet the Family
We are the De Bats family, and in 2022 we moved to the beautiful island of Curaçao. Our family consists of three children, and we have all fallen in love with the stunning white beaches, delicious food, and of course, the amazing weather.
During our adventure here, we came up with the idea to name our tropical home "Nos Anker" (Our Anchor in Papiamento). We chose this name because of its special meaning to our family. Before we left the Netherlands, we gave each family member a piece of jewelry with an anchor. This anchor symbolizes that wherever the De Bats family is, there is always a trusted 'home' to return to.
We purchased a beautiful villa divided into two homes, and from this, the idea for our vacation rental was born. Every morning, our guests are welcomed by the cheerful songs of various tropical birds that love to show themselves off. And don't forget, you might also spot the iguanas hiding in the trees.
Upon arrival, a chilled bottle of wine and a basket filled with delicious tropical fruit await you. The refrigerator is stocked with refreshing water and tasty fruit juices.
